Impressions of the Tabakfabrik

As I have shared with you guys here and here, I got the chance to take a walk through the Tabakfabrik in Linz for the Swarovski #Instawalk. Here are some of the impressions I took from the scenario, on our way to the instawalk.

I have to say, it was amazing to be in the halls of the Tabakfabrik that you usually don’t get to see. It was also somewhat sad to see how much potential the place has and is not being used. They did tell us that they’re thinking of using some of the halls of the place, but I don’t really know for what and when that will be happening.

How eerie does this look?

A piece of the 90’s on the wall. I found this so cool.

This mural was so beautiful and the clock was set on the right time!

They basically used it as a storage place, which does make for some cute photograps, but is such a shame…

I loved being able to experience this side of the Tabakfabrik, it is fascinating how much potential it has. I can imagine parties being made there, a bar being set or just a markets where you can sell your stuff. So many options!

Would you guys like to see more posts like this, just of photographs I take? I love taking photographs of places and never know what to do with them.. Let me know!

This is such an interesting (and almost dystopian) site! I personally love seeing the “old and forgotten” places. There’s such a unique beauty and I think you really captured it!

Thank you Kiersten! I really wanted to show off the parts you don’t usually get the chance to see 😉
