Review: L’Oreal Match Lumi Cushion

A few weeks ago, on a trip to my local Bipa, I spotted the new L’Oreal Match Lumi Cushion foundation. A limited edition foundation from the one and only L’Oreal. Just my luck, there was still one left in the lightest shade. My thoughts on it? You can read them below!

It’s in a portable compact, with an air-cushion filled with liquid foundation. It delivers the perfect amount of product. It comes with the “special application”, which is nothing else than a hybrid between a sponge and a buffer.

I personally use the beauty blender to apply it, but the applicator that comes with it isn’t bad – I just feel that it isn’t all that hygienic, because you cannot clean it. The product itself is very lightweight and has a dewy finish. It doesn’t match perfectly with my skin, as it is a bit too warm and half a shade dark for me, but it is pretty light in color. This was pretty surprising, since drugstore foundations are always way too dark for me.

It wears pretty well and has light coverage. You can build it up to middle coverage, but not much more. If you have clear skin, this might be the product for you. It doesn’t last very long though, maybe that’s why they put it in a portable container – so you can use it when you’re on the go! It cost me 12€ and was a limited edition.

Have you guys ever tried this? Or any type of cushion foundation? Let me know!

I’m not a huge fan of foundation, but that’s such a lovely soft coverage that I think I would actually wear it! I’ll have to see if I can hunt down my shade!

    Thank you for the review!
